The Canadian Paper Money Society Journal replaced the Canadian Paper Money Journal in 2001 continuing as an annual publication focusing on longer articles. It returned to a quarterly publication merging with the Canadian Paper Money Newsletter in 2012. Serial numbering of the new journal continued from the old journal at Vol. 48.
